Our client, located in Mobile, Alabama has an immediate need for a manager level tax accountant with heavy federal and state tax experience. This position offers exposure to the top management of the company and responsibilities will include SOX compliance, federal and state income tax matters, research and tax planning. Strong FAS109 experience is preferable for this opportunity.

In this position, the individual will be responsible for transferring price management, US international and foreign tax planning, international portions of the quarterly and annual tax provisions under FAS 109, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance for international tax matters, E&P calculations for foreign subsidiaries, all other areas of international compliance in federal income tax returns, and analyzing local tax positions to assist in local tax planning.   The individual will also evaluate the global tax situation and provide advice on international tax planning strategies to optimize results. Within Transfer Price Management, the individual will implement global transfer pricing policies and monitor compliance with them, establish and maintain transfer pricing documentation requirements in multiple jurisdictions, analyze individual company operating results periodically and make, as appropriate, adjustments to inter-company pricing and coordinate with local financial departments on the calculation, accounting treatment, and documentation of any correlative adjustments.

As a ChaseWorks Associate - Temporary Loan Processor, you will:   Process and prepare for closing retail mortgage loans (conventional and government, purchase and refinance) under various loan programs in accordance with policies & procedures, register loans on the origination system and maintain system accuracy, issue proper disclosures as required by federal regulatory compliance, review rate lock and point objectives for accuracy, ensure overage and underage is approved as well as waiver of any fees, set up files and order all necessary exhibits for appraisals and credit reports, check alternative documentation for accuracy and potential problems, order title insurance, flood and tax certificates and surveys, reviewing for problems upon receipt, review all documents thoroughly before submission to underwriting, obtain and review documents for acceptability against loan conditions, with the loan officer, coordinate with buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow agents, surveyors and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation, complete loan submissions and perform closings and update the conversation log as needed.   Temporary Position   ChaseWorks offers temporary opportunities within JPMorganChase, provides flexible schedules, and an opportunity to work for a leading financial powerhouse.
